Applying for Your India Visa

A step-by-step guide — Jackie will walk you through the whole process

This page is for clients travelling to India with Bums, Tums & Gums only. Jackie personally organises your visa through our trusted on-ground partners — you just need to fill in one simple form. Getting a visa to enter India for medical treatment sounds complicated — but we promise you, it isn't.

How It Works — The Simple Version

You fill in one Google Form — our pre-visa information form. Once you submit it, your information goes directly to IndiCure, our trusted on-ground coordinators in India. IndiCure then transcribe all of your details onto the official Indian High Commission application and submit it to the embassy on your behalf. You do not need to navigate any complicated government websites yourself.

A few days later, you will receive an email from IndiCure with a payment link and your reference number. You pay your visa fee online, and once approved — usually within a few days — you simply print your visa and bring it with you.

🔒 Privacy & Security — Your passport information and personal details are collected solely for the purpose of your India visa application. This information is shared only with IndiCure Health Tours and the Indian High Commission. It is used for no other purpose and is not shared with any third party.

The Three Steps — In Full Detail

1

Fill In the Google Form

  1. Click the button below to open the IndiCure eVisa Assistance Form
  2. The very first thing you must do is switch to your own Google account
  3. Work your way through every section of the form — it usually takes around 15 minutes
  4. If a question does not apply to you, type 'none' — do not leave it blank
  5. You will need the full names of both your parents, your full address, and your passport details — have these ready before you start
  6. Once you have completed every section, click Submit
2

Wait for Your Email From IndiCure

  1. A few days after submitting your form, you will receive an email from IndiCure with the subject line: URGENT: Verify & Pay - Visa application
  2. This email contains your personal reference number — it will start with the letter I, followed by '00' and then nine more characters
  3. Copy and paste this reference number somewhere safe — you will need it to make payment
  4. Receiving this email does not mean your visa has been approved — it means your application is ready for payment
3

Pay for Your Visa Online

  1. Open the payment link in the email from IndiCure

  2. On the first screen, click 'Close' in the top right-hand corner

  3. Paste your reference number exactly as it appears, add your date of birth, then click 'Check payment'

  4. I recommend selecting SBI (State Bank of India) as your payment option

  5. Payment automatically processes in New Zealand currency — no need to worry about exchange rates

  6. The payment website can be a little temperamental — if you see a red message, simply try again. It sometimes takes two or three attempts — this is normal!

ℹ️ If you are travelling for surgery, you will need a Medical Visa. If your partner or support person is accompanying you, they will need a Medical Attendant Visa (also USD $83). Please let Jackie know if anyone is travelling with you so the correct visa type is included.

Once Your Visa Is Approved

  • You will receive an email notification that your visa has been approved — usually within 3 days of payment
  • Log back in using your reference number to check the status and download your visa
  • Print your visa — colour or black and white is perfectly fine
  • Keep it together with your airline ticket and have it ready at check-in
  • Save a copy to your phone as a backup
  • Jackie will also carry a copy for you — but please have your own copy as you will need it before you reach Jackie at the airport

📱 Jackie's top tip: Screenshot your visa confirmation email AND your printed visa, and save both to a dedicated folder on your phone labelled 'India Trip Documents'. This way everything is in one place and you are never searching for it at the airport.

After completing the form, please email a copy of your passport to info@jbtg.co.nz
